Position Summary
A multi-office civil engineering and land development consulting firm is hiring a Civil Design Engineer to support site/civil land development projects from early concept through permitting and construction-ready plan sets. This role is well-suited for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on design experience, mentorship, and a clear growth path while contributing to practical, buildable site solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with preparation of site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater management plans.
- Support due diligence tasks, including research, documentation, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design staff to produce coordinated deliverables.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and drafting/design work using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Support permitting and agency coordination at the local and state level.
- Contribute ideas and problem-solving support as projects evolve.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- 0–3 years of experience in land development/site design (internship and/or full-time).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and foundational engineering concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in learning new tools and workflows.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
