Part 2 Architectural Assistant required to join a superb regional Architectural Practice located in Leeds City Centre!
This AJ100 architectural practice has an excellent and long-standing reputation across its regional offices and is firmly established as one of the UK’s premium architectural brands. With a diverse and loyal client base spanning both the public and private sectors, the practice delivers a broad cross-sector portfolio and operates as a well-run, financially robust business with a very healthy forward order book.
They are now seeking a talented and ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their established Retail team. This is an excellent opportunity for a design-focused individual looking to gain hands-on project experience within a highly respected practice, while continuing to develop professionally within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
This position would suit a work-experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant with previous experience gained within a UK architectural practice, ideally working on retail or large-scale commercial schemes. You will support the delivery of projects from concept through to technical stages, working closely with senior team members across a range of fast-paced retail developments.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute creatively and technically within a busy project team. The practice operates fully in Revit, so previous Revit experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment are essential.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should ideally meet the following criteria:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture
- Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice
- Experience or interest in Retail sector projects would be highly advantageous
- Good design and technical ability with strong presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning processes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload across multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress within a leading architectural practice

Salary & Application
The salary is highly competitive and negotiable depending on experience and suitability, typically in the range of £28,000 – £32,000 per annum.
