SENIOR CIVILS 3D TECHNICIAN

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Civil 3D Technician to join this well-established engineering consultancy working on a varied portfolio of major civil engineering projects.

The role will focus on producing and coordinating high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Civil 3D models, with projects spanning highways, drainage, infrastructure, aviation, regeneration and other complex developments.

As a senior member of the technical team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for technical delivery, coordinate design information and provide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians. There will also be opportunities to contribute to BIM and digital engineering initiatives across the wider business.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience working within a civil engineering consultancy and will be highly proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with strong knowledge of highways, drainage, earthworks and infrastructure design.

Experience of 3D modelling, BIM processes, multidisciplinary coordination and Common Data Environments is important. Knowledge of Navisworks, InfraWorks, Revit, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage would be advantageous.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, together with the ability to manage technical workloads, review drawings and models, and support the development of less experienced team members.
