What You'll Be Doing
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects
- Design structural systems utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
- Prepare structural calculations, reports, and supporting engineering documentation
- Assist with the development of construction drawings and design packages
- Coordinate directly with architects, owners, contractors, and external consultants
- Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction-phase support activities
- Collaborate with senior engineers on design solutions and technical problem-solving
- Take increasing ownership of project deliverables and client interactions as you develop
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- 3-6 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
- Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or recently obtained PE license
- Strong understanding of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC design standards
- Experience using structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood construction
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
