Conrad Consulting is working with a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to take the next step in their career, working on a diverse portfolio of major building projects for high-profile clients across the UK.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Deliver high-quality quantity surveying and cost management services
• Take responsibility for projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets and financial reports
• Lead procurement and tendering activities
• Manage project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting
• Work confidently with NEC contracts
• Identify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunities
• Provide strategic commercial advice to clients and project teams
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Travel to project sites across the UK as required

About You

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong building-sector experience.

You should have:

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment
• Strong experience delivering building projects
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Excellent cost management and commercial skills
• Strong client-facing and communication abilities
• A proactive, confident and commercially minded approach
• The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of projects
• Experience working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Healthcare sector experience would be highly desirable
