STRUCTURAL REVIT TECHNICIAN - CONTRACT

£40.00 - £45.00 per hour (Inside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Technician to join a busy engineering consultancy in Derby on an urgent long-term contract.

Working as part of an established design team, you will play a key role in producing high-quality structural drawings and technical detailing for complex building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Producing accurate structural drawings and detailing using AutoCAD
• Supporting the delivery of major construction projects valued at over £20 million
• Preparing drawings in line with current industry standards and BIM Level 2 requirements where applicable
• Working with a variety of structural materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry
• Liaising closely with structural engineers and other design team members to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and accurately
• Assisting with project delivery from concept through to construction

You will need to be proficient in Revit and possess strong detailing skills, with a good understanding of buildings construction. The role also requires someone who is able to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
