An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Architectural Technologist to join a well-established multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy based in Sheffield.
Our client delivers an integrated range of Architectural Design, Project Management, and Building Surveying services across the Commercial, Education, and Residential sectors. With a strong pipeline of diverse and technically engaging projects, this is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.
The Role
You will support the design and technical delivery of a variety of projects, working closely with experienced Architects, Technologists, and Surveyors. This role will provide exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, from early design through to construction, allowing you to develop your technical skills and understanding of professional practice.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career in architectural technology, with a keen interest in technical detailing, compliance, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, models, and technical packages.
- Support the delivery of projects across all RIBA stages.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
- Contribute to the production of specifications, schedules, and reports.
- Attend site visits and project meetings to gain practical experience.
- Support senior team members with project coordination and administration.
- Develop proficiency in relevant software and technical processes.
About You
- Degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in technical design and construction detailing.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous but not essential).
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations (academic knowledge expected).
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn within a professional environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
