Conrad Consulting are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist subcontractor delivering major data centre enabling and infrastructure works in Helsinki.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team working on a large-scale data centre project within one of Europe's expanding data centre markets.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of subcontract packages and works, working closely with project and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively and profitably.

The Role

Commercial management of data centre enabling and infrastructure works.
Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account.
Preparing and managing valuations, variations, payment applications and final accounts.
Monitoring project costs, forecasting and reporting against budgets.
Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor accounts and commercial agreements.
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with the Project Management and site teams to ensure commercial performance.
Supporting the wider commercial team with procurement, cost control and contract administration.

About You

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong subcontractor-side experience, ideally gained within major infrastructure, enabling works, civil engineering or data centre projects.

You should have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial and subcontract management experience.
Experience working for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
Data centre, infrastructure, civils or enabling works experience would be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of commercial processes, procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
